Illustration: one Vision Scan SDK family across native platforms and cloud

SDK overview

Choose a platform and language, then follow the integration path that matches the artifact Vision Scan actually ships.

Vision Scan ships a portable core that owns the image intelligence — frame processing, barcode decoding, GS1 handling, and OCR rescue — behind every integration form. This page is a map: how the SDK works, which integration path fits your platform, what is ready in RC2, and how to obtain the artifact.

How the SDK works

Your host application owns the receiving workflow and downstream integration; the portable core owns the image intelligence — decoding, GS1 handling, and OCR rescue.

Integration architecture

One pipeline, two integration forms. Native SDKs run the portable core on the device; Cloud REST is an experimental preview path over an authenticated HTTP contract.

SDK downloads

Android SDK download

In progress

The RC2 evaluation package (SDK, Maven dependency metadata, sample source and documentation) is distributed through an authenticated tenant download grant, redeemed through the developer portal. The artifact is not published to a public Maven repository.

Cloud REST

Experimental

Cloud REST is a separate integration surface — not a native scanner package: one authenticated HTTP contract for server languages (Python, JavaScript, .NET, Java, and Ruby). It needs no download.
